ISO 17100:2015

 

Very applicable in foreign language schools that deal with professional translation ISO 17100: 2015 includes quality requirements for core processes, resources, and other aspects required for translation service delivery that meets the appropriate specifications.

The application of ISO 17100: 2015 also provides the means by which the TSP can demonstrate the compliance of certain translation services with ISO 17100: 2015 and the ability of its processes and resources to deliver translation services that will meet customer requirements and other applicable specifications.

Use of raw products from machine translation and subsequent editing outside the scope of ISO 17100: 2015.

ISO 17100: 2015 does not apply to interpreter services.
